Meet Dr. Reece
Greg Reece, DMD
Dr. Greg Reece, a North Carolina native, was raised in Clemmons. He completed his undergraduate work in Chemistry at University of South Carolina in 2006. While in school, Dr. Reece played soccer for the Gamecocks and earned many honors including All-American his senior year. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, earning the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Reece then completed the prestigious Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in St. Petersburg , FL associated with the University of Florida – College of Dentistry in June of 2011.
During his training Dr. Reece was introduced to the Dawson Academy and adopted the philosophy of Complete Dental Care. He has since completed the curriculum. In addition to his residency, Dr. Reece went through a 9 month implant training earning him a fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Reece also completed the rigorous requirements to be awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). Dr. Reece is a member of the American Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, the North Carolina Dental Society and the Charlotte Dental Society. He is also a member of several study clubs including the Dawson Central North Carolina Study Club , is a Dawson Alumni member and is the founder of the Two Mountains Study Club.
Dr. Reece has participated at the NCMOM’s dental event here in Charlotte, Give Kids a Smile Day, and the Urban Crisis Ministry Dental Van providing free dental care to the community. In his spare time, Dr. Reece enjoys spending time with his wife, Tessa, new son, Avett, and dog, Socks, and participating in outdoor activities.
