Common Dental Treatments in our Dental Office
Dentistry of the Queen City offers a range of restorative, cosmetic, and general dentistry services. Learn more about some of the most popular treatments:
- Tooth Whitening: Tooth discoloration can make you insecure about your smile. You hide it instead of showing it off. There are multiple methods we have at Dentistry of the Queen City to take care of your discolored teeth. At Dentistry of the Queen City, we’re proud to offer the KOR whitening system.
- Root Canal: Almost everyone knows what a root canal is. But did you know that it’s not any more painful than a dental cleaning? Modern dentistry gives your dentist the tools and materials needed to provide relatively painless dental treatments that are done correctly the first time.
- Dental Implants: Are you missing one or more teeth? Lost teeth that are not replaced in time can create dental issues down the road. Dental implants are the most requested and modern tooth replacement option on the market today.
Teeth Cleanings
Dental prophylaxis, or dental cleaning, thoroughly cleans the teeth and gums. Routine dental cleanings can help combat gum disease and tooth decay, as well as halitosis and gum swelling. There are multiple benefits that dental cleanings in our Charlotte, NC office offer patients. These benefits include:
- Plaque removal: Plaque buildup above and below your gum line can cause tooth and gum infection. Dr. Reece uses specialized dental equipment that can be used to get to hard-to-reach areas where plaque may build up.
- Improved tooth aesthetics: Prophylaxis can help rid teeth of stains or a yellowed look. Teeth can become whiter and brighter with regular cleaning.
- Fresher breath: Halitosis, also known as bad breath, is caused by a combination of rotting food particles and possible gum infection. Cleaning teeth regularly can help fight infection, leaving your breath fresher and your teeth healthier.
